About Taos youth Ballet
Taos Youth Ballet was started five years ago by Amber Vasquez. As a favor to a handful of parents in the community.The school was 10 students large and 3 classes. Taos Youth Ballet is now one of the leading dance schools in Northern New Mexico with a special interest in exposing the community-at-large to dance, music performances, and educational opportunities. Amber Vasquez, founder and director of Taos Youth Ballet donates over $7,000 in dance education to the community every year. Ms. Vasquez gives hundreds of hours to the Youth Ballet Company in the hopes of inspiring budding young artists to dedicate themselves to performance and rehearsals. Taos Youth Ballet is built on the foundation that dance can improve the quality of life for every Taos resident.
